We're warning you - when ignorant bureaucrats and isolated executives start talking about how they're going to save you, it's time to revolt (hah! electric car pun...).  There are lots of reasons why electric cars are still a fart on the wind.  If you're a geek, consider a few: efficiency, power production, charging time, convenience, "0" emmisions, waste, capabilities, conditions, readiness, and parts and equipment - electrics fail across the board.  You can't plan for a trip by shooting yourself in the foot.

Remember, crony capitalism isn't bad capitalism, it's bad socialism.  GM (and other electric-car makers) want to conspire with crooked politicians to use solar panels and windmills to shove the future right up your ass, and it's worse than you think.
